	University of Hamburg - Universität Hamburg The Faculty of Informatics of the University of Hamburg provides all relevant areas of computer science in research and teachings. Information security is a main focus of research since the last decades. The Research Unit "Security in Distributed Systems" was founded in early 2004, when Joachim Posegga moved from SAP Corporate Research to the University of Hamburg.
